SafetyFestMT: Missoula Registration Now Open.
MISSOULA - Registrations are now being accepted for five days of free safety training at SafetyFestMT: Missoula 2011.
"Anyone can attend," said George Kochman, WorkSafeMT program manager. "We provide high quality safety training at zero cost to help reduce Montana's unacceptable workplace injury, illness and fatality rates."
The event will be Dec. 5-9 at Missoula's Hilton Garden Inn.
Classes include Behavior-Based Safety, First Aid/CPR/AED, Drug & Alcohol abuse in the workplace, Restaurant and Hotel safety, Decision Driving, ATV Safety, OSHA 10- and 30-hour card for General Industry and Construction, Ergonomics, Fleet Safety, HAZWOPER 40-hour and 8-hour refresher, Job Analyses and Post-Offer Testing, and many more.
Those interested in attending should register at www.safetyfestmt.com. Early registration is strongly advised as classes are filled on a first-come basis, and several classes already have reached their limit, Kochman said.
SafetyFestMT is an educational outreach of WorkSafeMT - a non-profit corporation whose goal is to reduce Montana's high rate of workplace injuries, illnesses and fatalities by promoting effective safety programs and by providing free safety training.
