December 15, 2010 the Montana Wyoming Tribal Leaders Council hosted the first Rocky Mountain Tribal Institutional Review Board meeting. Dr. Bill Freeman and Dr. Francine Ramero Gauchpin facilitated the meeting and answered participant questions about research, public health practices, and the implementation of the RMTIRB. In this meeting, members of the RMTIRB were identified and participants agreed to meet again on January 21, 2011.
